Tony Armstrong, an Aboriginal Australian television host, and former professional Australian rules football player was birthed on September 29, 1989.

In the Australian Football Premiership, Tony participated for the Adelaide Sports Team, Sydney Swans, and Collingwood Football Club (AFL).

Armstrong competed for the TAC Cup teams NSW/ACT Rams and Calder Cannons in addition to attending the famed football school Assumption College.
He played for the SANFL team North Adelaide after being selected, and Adelaide coach Neil Craig rewarded him with numerous backup slots in the lineup following some standout performances.
He was selected to make his AFL debut in round 13 of 2009, but owing to a swine flu scare, along with his flatmate, teammate, and fellow Assumption College alum Richard Douglas, he was unable to play.
