J $tash died by committing suicide. After shooting and killing his baby mama, he turned the gun on himself and shot himself dead.
Authorities responded to reports of domestic violence in the house around 7:14 AM on New Year’s Day. This is according to Los Angeles Country Sheriff’s Department.
In the apartment, the deputies said they found a 27-year-old woman and a 28-year-old man both dead. They were both pronounced dead on the scene.
“The female victim sustained multiple gunshot wounds, while the male victim sustained an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound,” according to deputies.
The suspect has been identified as J $tash, whose legal name is Justin Joseph, a spokesperson for the sheriff’s department told PEOPLE. The spokesperson did not identify the female victim.
