American actor and rapper Jaden Smith was born Jaden Christopher Syre Smith on July 8, 1998, in Malibu, California, United States.
His parents are actors Jada Pinkett Smith and Will Smith. Jaden was initially educated at the New Village Leadership Academy before being homeschooled by his parents.
He subsequently made his film debut with his father in the 2006 film The Pursuit of Happyness and appeared in the 2013 film After Earth with his father.
He was also cast in the remake films The Day the Earth Stood Still in 2008 and The Karate Kid which was released in 2010.
