Jenna Jameson who is an adult film star revealed on Sunday that she is receiving treatment for a disease her doctor suspects to be Guillain-Barré Syndrome. Guillain-Barré Syndrome is a rare neurological disorder in which the body’s immune system mistakenly attacks the nervous system, causing muscle weakness and temporary paralysis.
Right after Jenna Jameson revealed her health status on Instagram, she received a lot of comments beneath her post. Jenna Jameson further went on to state that she “did NOT get the jab or any jab,” which was a tag to the COVID-19 vaccine.
“This is NOT a reaction to the jab. Thank you for your concern.” – She explained.
Guillain-Barré Syndrome according to health experts can occur after vaccination. This was explained by the Centers for Disease Control. Some Americans were warned that the COVID-19 could cause some serious complications that would lead to a disorder.
Researches after working on a couple of things came out with proof that the Guillain-Barré Syndrome “is insufficient to establish a causal relationship,” the Food and Drug Administration said, and the risks of not getting vaccinated are significantly higher than the chance of developing the disorder.
According to the Centers for Disease Control, there is no direct link to autism and the COVID-19 vaccine.
Jenna Jameson would be getting infusions of immunoglobulin therapy, the typical treatment for the disorder she is currently suffering from.
Lior Britton who is Jenna Jameson’s partner spoke on her sickness saying:
“Her muscles in her legs were very weak. So she wasn’t able to walk to the bathroom. She was falling on the way back or to the bathroom, I would have to pick her up and carry her to bed,” he explained in an Instagram video.
“She’s doing physical therapy to try and stand on her legs, but at the moment she cannot stand on her legs,” he added. “They’re starting the treatment so they’ll see how it goes. So keep praying.”
