James Mountain Inhofe, often known as Jim Inhofe, is an American politician who is now the senior United States senator representing Oklahoma. He was originally elected to this position in 1994. He is a Republican who served as the chairman of the Senate’s Environment and Public Works Committee twice, from 2015 to 2017 and from 2003 to 2007.
Inhofe co-authored a letter to President Donald Trump pleading with him to renounce the Paris Agreement, and he was one of 22 senators to sign it. Since 2012, the oil and gas business has given Inhofe approximately $529,000, according to OpenSecrets.
