John Visentin was a famous American Businessman and Entrepreneur. He was birth in Norwalk, Connecticut, United States in the year 1963.
He was the Vice Chairman & Chief Executive Officer (CEO) at Xerox. Xerox in November 2019 made a takeover offer to HP, a business synonymous with printers, in an effort to combine the two companies and cut costs.
Visentin was much in support of the merger who appeared to believe that the industry needed some sort of consolidation in order to appease shareholders concerned about the accelerating erosion of the traditional printing business.
According to his LinkedIn profile, he is a graduate from Concordia University in Montreal and started his career at IBM.
He served for more than 20 years there before moving to HP. He was the chief executive of Novitex Enterprise Solutions from 2013 to 2017.
He was described by Xerox in its statement as a leader “who navigated the company through unprecedented times and challenges”. Visentin died on June 29, 2022, at the age of 59 years at Norwalk due to an ongoing illness.
