Jonathan Rufino Jezus Schoop who was born on the 16th of October 1991 is known as a Curaçaoan professional baseball 2nd baseman for the Detroit Tigers in Major League Baseball (MLB). He formerly played for the Baltimore Orioles, Milwaukee Brewers, and also Minnesota Twins. He was an All-Star in 2017.
Before he became a major league player he played in the 2003 and 2004 Little League World Series for sides like Curaçao.
Jonathan was signed by the Baltimore Orioles as a free agent in the year 2008. In the year 2011, Schoop together with Manny Machado repped the Orioles at the 2011 All-Star Futures Game.
