Kelly Khumalo questions President Ramaphosa about the state of the country


Reality TV star and Musician, who tags herself as the voice of has responded to President Ramaphosa’s weekly newsletter with a very serious question about the state of the South African economy.

In his recent address, Ramaphosa addressed the torching of parliament and claims of corruption and fraud in the state capture report, saying the country’s constitution, democratic state, and election process must be protected against people who seek to undermine democracy.

Kelly Khumalo who thinks the constitution is not working responded to the President asking if democracy had any significance in the face of the current crisis the citizens are facing such as joblessness, corruption, and gender-based violence.

“Mr President sir, What does democracy even mean if we are hungry without jobs, high teenage pregnancies, not to mention the level of crime ,gender based violence and the misuse of Government funds. are we really free? Or freedom is used to cover the reality of our country” She asked.
