Kevin Bacon Returns To His Horror Roots in LGBTQ Slasher ‘They/Them’

“They/Them has been developing inside me my entire life,” essayist and chief John Logan said of the film. “I’ve cherished thrillers for as far back as I can recall, I think since beasts address ‘the other’ and as a gay youngster I felt a strong feeling of family relationship with those characters who were unique, banned, or prohibited.”


The Oscar-selected screenwriter added, “I needed to make a film that celebrates eccentricity, with characters that I never saw when I was growing up.
