Oscar-winning actor Kevin Spacey was found not guilty by a London jury of seven sexual assaults and two other sexual offenses against four men.

The 64-year-old Hollywood celebrity was accused of committing sex offenses between 2004 and 2013, while also serving as creative director of the Old Vic theater in London. He entered a not guilty plea to every accusation.

After the jury found Spacey not guilty, he thanked them while crying as the decision was announced. His 64th birthday is today, July 26, and the verdict is also announced today.

At 12.45 p.m. local time on Monday, Justice Mark Wall had ordered the jury at London’s Southwark Crown Court to deliberate its verdicts.

After three days and 12 hours and 26 minutes of deliberation, the jury returned on Wednesday and found Spacey not guilty of all charges.

Two Academy Awards have been given to Spacey for his performances in “The Usual Suspects” and “American Beauty.” After quitting “House of Cards,” he just resumed acting. The actor played the lead role in the Netflix series for five seasons until being let go in 2017 amid claims of inappropriate behavior both on and off the set.
