Korean actress Kim Mi Soo died on Wednesday at the age of 29 years. Her death was confirmed by her agency Landscape Entertainment.
Landscape Entertainment stated that Kim Mi Soo died ‘suddenly’ but failed to add the cause of her death. In a statement issued, they wrote:
“Kim suddenly left us on Jan. 5,” her agency said in a statement, according to Variety. “The bereaved are deep in their sorrow at the sudden sadness. Please refrain from reporting false rumours or speculation so that the family can mourn in peace.”
A lot of people who were shocked at the death of Kim Mi Soo reached out to her agency for clarification.
Kim Mi Soo was playing a key role in the South Korean television series Snowdrop. The romantic movie along with Kim Mi Soo also starred BlackPink’s actors Jisoo and Jung Hae-in.
Kim Mi Soo was playing the role of a student activist known as Yeo Jung-min. The Snowdrop was shit and directed by JTBC Studios and Drama House and was aired on South Korean network JTBC.
The series was first announced as a Disney+ original program in October.
Kim Mi Soo also made appearances in series like Ring and Hi Bye, Mama!, as well as the 2019 films Kyungmi’s World and Memories among other amazing movies.
