American actress Kirstie Louise Alley passed away on December 5, 2022 (born January 12, 1951). Her breakthrough performance was in the NBC sitcom Cheers (1987–1993) as Rebecca Howe, for which she won a Golden Globe and an Emmy Award in 1991.

For her participation in the crime drama series The Last Don, Alley was nominated for another Emmy in 1997. She portrayed a fictitious version of herself in 2005’s Fat Actress on Showtime.

Later, she made an appearance on Kirstie Alley’s Big Life (2010), and she competed on the 12th season of Dancing with the Stars (2011–2012), placing second.

With the title role on the sitcom Kirstie in 2013, Alley made a comeback as an actor. Kirstie Alley made an appearance on Scream Queens, a Fox comedy-horror series, in 2016.

Kirstie Alley was diagnosed with cancer in the later parts of her career. The cancer was only known about, about some two years ago and they decided to fight it with Chemotherapy. But unfortunately, she passed away on the 5th of December 2022.
