Kirstie Alley’s prominence in the entertainment industry emerged after she took the role of Rebecca Howe in the NBC sitcom “Cheers”, which aired between 1987 to 1993.

According to Kirstie Alley’s career history, she debuted in the film industry in 1982 with the film, “Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan”, where she played Lieutenant Saavik; the Vulcan Starfleet officer.
