Senzo Brikka Vilakazi is a South African rapper and songwriter professionally known as Kwesta. He was birth in Katlehong, Gauteng, a township which is rather known as “K1” on August 11, 1988.

He made his studio album debut in 2010 with “Special ReKwest” and in 2013, he released his second album DaKAR, which came in as number three on the iTunes South African Hip-hop/Rap chart.

In 2016, she released his third album DaKAR II with singles like, “Ngud’,” “Nomayini”, “Day Ones”, “Ngiyazifela Ngawe,” “Mayibabo” and “Mmino”. In 2021 he released his fifth studio album g.o.d Guluva which came in as number three in South Africa.

His awards and achievements include six South African Awards, four South African Hip Hop Awards, one MTV Africa Music Awards, one Metro FM Awards and others.

He began his career in 2013 at the age of 15 with his friends with a rap group formed and named “Ghetto Fellaz”.

They later changed the name to “The Juvenylz”, same year. Currently, he is signed to his own independent which he co-founded with Kid X media company called the RapLyf Records.

Kwesta welcomed his daughter Khai Asemahle Bulelwa Vilakazi in 2013 three years after meeting his wife. In 2020, he welcomed his second daughter.
