Oba Adedokun Abolarin, The Orangun of Oke-Ila in Osun State has revealed via his official Facebook account that it was Davido's late mum, Dr. Mrs. Veronica Adeleke who rescued his son from drowning. According to the monarch, the event happened 25 years ago and he disclosed it was very sad that no one could pay Davido's late mom back in his coin, by rescuing her grandson from drowning.
In the post shared a few moments ago by Oba Adedokun Abolarin, he recounted how singer Davido's mum, Veronica saved his son from a swimming pool 25 years ago.

The demise of Ifeanyi Adeleke happened on Monday, October 31 at Davido's banana Island residence, where the 3-year-old boy was drowned in a swimming pool. The Lagos state police command has however launched an investigation into the tragic event, and all the house domestic house help has been invited for scrutiny.
