Nigerian comedian Sabinus, also known as Emmanuel Chukwuemeka Ejekwu, has apologized to Ghanaians for mocking them after their failure in the African Cup of Nations (AFCON) competition.

His statements came after Nigeria’s Super Eagles were defeated by the host nation, Ivory Coast, in Sunday’s AFCON final at Alassane Ouattara Stadium in Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire.

Many Nigerians blamed the Super Eagles players and team coach José Peseiro when they expressed their dissatisfaction.

On the other hand, Sabinus begged for forgiveness from Ghanaians and urged them to coexist peacefully and lovingly with Nigerians.

He shared a photo of himself pleading and captioned, “Ghanaians Please forgive and forget”. He furthered, “Ghana 🇬🇭 No Vex !!! We Move ❤️ One Love 🏃‍♀️😂”.
