Marcus Edwards Reveals Intention To Return To The Premier League

Sporting CP’s Marcus Edwards says he certainly expects to get back to Britain to play in the Chief Association later on.

After a credit spell in the Netherlands, Edwards left his nation of origin for good in 2019, passing on Tottenham to play for Portuguese side Vitória de Guimarães.

He dazzled there, procuring a transition to Wearing CP in January of this current year, and that move saw him go facing previous club Prods on the second matchday of this season Champions Association.

In a game his ongoing group won 2-0, he was one of the stand-apart players, making various opportunities to nearly score a shocking objective himself.

Inquired as to whether he might want to get back to the Chief Association should the opportunity emerge from now on, he felt a little unsure.

“Better believe it obviously, it’s my home. Obviously I need to return there one day,” he told BT Game.

That being said, he says he’s a lot of blissful in Lisbon and is in no hurry to say goodbye to his ongoing club.

“It’s a legitimate family climate, I was unable to be more joyful here,” he added.

“It feels perfect, winning it toward the end like that after we put in a hard shift. Couldn’t be more joyful. I think we merited that.”

His presentation drove many, including Owen Hargreaves, to recommend he be allowed an opportunity in the Britain crew, yet he isn’t contemplating that.

“Nah, I wouldn’t agree that that is entered my thoughts,” he said. “I simply center around the thing I’m doing here, I don’t actually contemplate that.”
