American opera singer Maria Ewing has lost her life. She was born on March 27, 1950, in Detroit, Michigan, United States. Maria died at age 71 on January 9, 2022. The death news was confirmed by the singer's spokesperson, Bryna Rifkin, that Ewing died in her home in Detroit. Ewing graduated from Detroit's Finney High School in 1968. Ewing later studied in Cleveland and New York City

1982, Ewing married the English theatre director Sir Peter Hall. The couple divorced in 1990. They were blessed with a daughter who is also an actress Rebecca Hall. Ewing had numerous performances including 1986's Salome at the LA Opera and 1987's Nozze.

Her daughter Rebecca Hall stated in a report about how her mum was proud of her and her works. She posted her mum's song on Instagram and received a lot of good remarks.

Following a brief illness, Maria Ewing died in her home. She slept and didn't wake up. Fans have paid tribute to Maria Ewing. Most people on Instagram say nice comments about her.

As of now, Ewing's family is waiting for her autopsy results.
