INTRODUCTION
Mark Blum was born in the city of Newark, new Jersey, USA on the 14th of May, 1950. The American actor made his debut in 1983 after been cast as intern Murphy in the movie “Lovesick”. Unfortunately, Mark Blum died on the 25th of March, 2020 from a complication associated with the COVID-19 pandemic.
PERSONAL LIFE
Mark Blum was raised in Maplewood, New Jersey by his parent, Mr and Miss Blum. His parents both worked in the insurance industry, they were Jewish and therefore raised their son according to their belief in a Jewish. Mark had his high school education at Columbian High, graduated in the year 1968 and in 2012 he got inducted into the school`s hall of fame. He proceeded to the University obtain his Bachelor degree at the University of Pennsylvania.
Mark got married to Janet Zarish who is also an actress in the year 2005. Janet Zarish is well known for her role as Natalie Bannon in the movie “As the World Turns” The two were happily married until the death of Mark Blum on the 25th of March, 2020. It was believed that Mark through COVID-19 complications at the age of 69 in New York. To mark the role of Mark Blum in the movie industry, season 3 of the series “You” was dedicated to him.
CAREER
Mark first started his career by playing roles in a stage plays back in the 1970. His first movie role as in a movie titled Lovesick that was released in the 1983. He started getting movie roles and got cast in movies including; Desperately Seeking Susan (1985), Just Between Friends (1986), Blind Date (1987) and others.
Mark also starred in television series including Sweet Surrender which was released in 1987, NYPD Blue (1990), Mozart in the Jungle (2014-2018) etc. He also appeared on Broadway a couple of times including Lost in Yonkers, The Best Man, The Assemble Parties and also the revival of Twelve Angry Men.

He was nominated for an Obie Award because of his role as AI in Albert Innaurato`s play, which he won. Mark is well known for the glamour and humor he brings to the movie set.
