Carey Mecole Hardman Jr., born March 12, 1998, is an American football wide receiver for the National Football League’s Kansas City Chiefs (NFL). He attended Georgia and was drafted by the Chiefs in the second round of the 2019 NFL Draft.

In 2022, the fourth-year wide receiver played in his fourth NFL season with the Chiefs. The Kansas City Chiefs selected Mecole Hardman as the first of two second-round picks in the 2019 NFL Draft. Hardman returned three punts for 70 yards (23.3 average) in the Wild Card game against the Steelers, setting a new single-game franchise record for punt return yards.

With Mecole Hardman’s 70 punt return yards, he now has 86 career postseason punt return yards, moving him into first place in franchise history for most career postseason punt return yards. He had a 48-yard punt return and a 21-yard return, which were the longest and fourth-longest punt returns in team postseason history, respectively.
