The 90-year-old Chicago-born entertainer experienced a medical emergency, and owing to its seriousness, was swiftly taken to the hospital. According to a spokesperson for Quincy, the music tycoon “had a bad reaction to some food he ate,” according to TMZ.

Paramedics quickly arrived at his Los Angeles house after an ambulance was summoned. When Quincy was apparently given the “all-clear by doctors and released from the hospital,” he was then escorted to the hospital for a checkup.

Additionally, it was learned that Quincy was “in great spirits” and “never lost consciousness.”
