NDLEA Uncovers Underground Drug Bunk In Delta

The Usiefurum town, Ughelli South Local Government Area, in Delta State is home to an underground drug bunker that was discovered by the ().

The bunker is housed in a three-bedroom villa.

According to Naija News, the NDLEA Spokesperson, Femi Babafemi, claimed in a statement on Sunday that the organization’s agents assaulted a building allegedly owned by fugitive drug lord .

The structure included more than 17.6 kg of Cannabis sativa, as well as a 2003 Silver Golf with the license plate Lagos KJA 572 AZ that was utilized for drug delivery both inside and outside of Warri.

At the SAHCO export shed of the Lagos International Airport on Wednesday, the items headed for Johannesburg, South Africa, were intercepted.

“A female freight agent, Olaleye Adeola has already been arrested in connection with the noodles consignment,” Femi said.

Similar to this, drug enforcement agents apprehended at least 1,154,500 pills of Tramadol, Rohypnol, and Exol that were being driven by Umar Hassan, a truck driver, from Onitsha, Anambra, to Gombe.

The operation was in response to reliable intelligence that resulted in the Thursday recovery of illegal substances in the Gombe State area of Bye Pass.
