In Los Angeles, a car fire left at least five people dead and eight injured. The number of fatalities has risen to six, according to the California Highway Patrol, after a further body was discovered inside one of the destroyed vehicles.

The California Highway Patrol reported Friday that Nicole Linton is charged with vehicular manslaughter with gross negligence. Asherey Ryan, 23, and her unborn kid have been named as casualties thus far by the LA County Department of Medical Examiner-Coroner. The four further victims are still unidentified.

Linton allegedly ran a red light outside a gas station in the Windsor Hills district of Los Angeles on Thursday while driving a gray Mercedes-Benz at a high rate of speed, crashing into at least six automobiles.

Nicole L Linton, 37 who has been identified as a nurse has not died. She caused an accident and crashed into multiple cars due to driving at a high speed in her Mercedes. According to two law enforcement sources, investigators are analyzing Linton’s blood work to see if she was intoxicated when the accident occurred.

A member of her family turned down a Friday interview request from a Times reporter.

Authorities detained Linton on suspicion of vehicular manslaughter, and they want to prosecute her with the deaths of the unborn child and the other five people on Monday.
