Veteran singer, 2Baba has finally reacted to singer Davido and Chioma's son, Ifeanyi's death in a recent post he shared on his Instastory recently. The “Fem” crooner had lost his 3-year-old son who drowned in a swimming pool at his residence in Banana Island, Lagos while he was away with Chioma for a family gathering at Ibadan.
Following the tragic incident, several commiserating messages have been sent to the singer and his fiancè, Chioma from celebrities, fans, and well-wishers in solidarity with them.
After over a week the unfortunate demise of the minor happened, and veteran singer 2Baba finally reacted to the news. 2Baba, who noted that the incident rendered him speechless, shared a photo of Davido and Chioma with their son and stated that no one truly understands the pain the couple is currently going through.
“Nobody can truly understand what these 2 young beautiful people are going through right now. This cuts so deep, I'm still speechless”, he wrote. This news is coming days after the Lagos State Police Command released the result from the autopsy which was done to ascertain the real cause of the 3-year-old's death.

According to the autopsy results, it was confirmed that Ifeanyi had truly died from drowning as reported earlier. The state police public relations officer, Benjamin Hundeyin, made this disclosure in a chat with newsmen. Hundley also disclosed that the two suspects; the Nanny and the cook, arrested in connection to the death are still in the custody of the police.
