Oladips, a Nigerian artist, has chastised comedian Nasty Blaq for filming a comedy on his alleged death.

When Oladips’ management announced his passing on November 15 after a two-year personal struggle, Nigerians were gripped with sadness.

But Oladips’s longtime friend and fellow musician Qdot uploaded a video of the rapper and said “he is alive”.

In addition, he said that if Oladips’ single becomes the number one song on the charts, he will come back online.

The tweet sparked speculation that the rapper fabricated his death to gain musical dominance, but Oladips denied the allegations.

In an Instagram post on Tuesday, January 16, he advised Nasty Blaq not to exploit his prior circumstances for financial gain when the sketch maker crafted a hilarious version of his demise.
