Brown was chosen by the Baltimore Ravens in the third round of the 2018 NFL Draft (83rd overall). Analysts saw Brown, who was selected as the ninth offensive tackle overall in 2018, as one of the biggest draft steals.

On May 16, 2018, Brown signed a four-year, $3.49 million contract with the Baltimore Ravens that also included an $865,720 signing bonus. He participated in all 16 of the games during his first season and started 10 of them at right tackle.

He made his debut in the Los Angeles Chargers’ Wild Card defeat. Trent Brown, an injured Oakland Raider, was replaced by Brown on January 15, 2020, who had been nominated as an alternative offensive tackle for the 2020 Pro Bowl. In 2020, Brown was selected for his second Pro Bowl.

On April 23, 2021, Brown was traded to the Kansas City Chiefs in exchange for the Chiefs’ first-round pick (31st overall) in the 2021 NFL Draft, their third-round pick (94th overall), their fourth-round pick (136th overall), and their fifth-round pick in the 2022 NFL Draft.

Brown also received a second-round pick (58th overall) in the 2021 NFL Draft and a sixth-round pick in the 2022 NFL Draft. In his first year with the team, Brown was selected for the Pro Bowl.
