Friday, 10th June, 2022 is the commemoration of Green Ghana Day and the goal is to have 20 million trees planted across Ghana. According to the Forestry Commission, Ghana has lost over 80% of forest cover since 1990.
Hence, this initiative is to ensure that more trees are planted to control Global Warming. The president of Ghana, H.E Nana Akufo-Addo among other important people came out in their numbers to plant trees.
Well, Ghanaian Real Estate Mogul, Mr Patrick Mensah Nartey, was also very much involved in the activities of the day. In photos shared on his Facebook page, he also did well to plant some trees.
Thereafter, he personally drove around the Bubiashie Electoral Area to distribute free plants to people so that they can also be able to plant easily.
Sharing the photos, he wrote:
“Today Green Ghana day marked at the OkaiKwei South Constituency
