Peter Mundrick died on 5 January 2022, and a lot of his fans and Students are heartbroken over his sudden demise. He was a band teacher and had soo many interesting ways of teaching his students.
His death was confirmed by Commissioner Chip Bertino.

His death will surely leave a huge gap in our hearts. The tribute started coming to social media when his death was confirmed.
Some students wrote nice things like “Mr. Mundrick gave me an opportunity to become the musician I am today,” he said. “I didn't read music, I just played the guitar the way I wanted to play. He never tried to make me change what I was doing, he just encouraged me to be me. I'll always remember that. There are a few of us that came through his class that has been playing since then and made a living off of music. I think we all owe Mr. Mundrick a debt of gratitude for that.”
