Sylvester Oromoni’s family has instituted a petition against one controversial Investigative Journalist, Kemi Olunloyo who made contentious remarks following the demise of their 12-year-old son.
In a recent conversation, the Investigative Journalist alleged that the young boy willingly consented to a cult initiation process; during which he passed on.
This came after initial reports on how the 12-year-old Dowen College kid departed this life were challenged by Kemi’s assertions.
Sylvester’s family requested an investigation into Kemi’s allegations in a petition filed by a Human Rights Lawyer and Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN), Mr. Femi Falana on their behalf; with further reports claiming that the family was infuriated by the journalist’s allegations against the passing away of their late son.
