The celebrity boxing battle between rapper Priddy Ugly and Cassper Nyovest will be remembered mostly for the fact that it lasted less than two minutes, and Priddy Ugly has once again revealed how that contest came about.

On his Twitter, Zingah teased the upcoming edition of his podcast, and Priddy explained how the match was organized.

“He reached out to me and is like yo I’m gonna say some stuff on Twitter and I need you to respond, lets just see what people are saying. I was like no I got you. Eventually we announce the fight and then I had to do a lot of stuff behind the scenes that people don’t know. This is four weeks before the fight. The weakest thing that I had coming into the fight was getting told your head movement is weak and you are not moving your head around.”

Cassper defeated Priddy Ugly in the opening two-minute round to win the match that evening.

“Experience, skills and sticking to the plan made me win. Staying calm and not rushing. We are back on top; that’s what they know us for. I win so much that they get excited when I lose,” Cassper told TshisaLIVE.

Cassper said that he would approach the battle with Priddy differently.

“In my last fight I rushed and I got tired. I was definitely more nervous this time around. I was nervous before it was time to get into the ring.”

For the previous three months, Priddy claimed to have practiced six hours each week, and he was unhappy to lose the match so swiftly.

“When someone much heavier than you hits you in the head, it doesn’t matter how prepared you are, you’ll go dizzy. When he landed blows on me it did affect me. The great thing I’m blessed about is that I’m not hurt. He knocked me down and I’m still here with no bruises.”
