Prince Kaybee Says Nothing Below R2.5m Will Get Him In Ring With Cassper Nyovest

Prince Kaybee has clarified the factors that will leed him to challenge rapper Cassper Nyovest to a fight.

Fans have been hoping to see the two celebrities settle their differences in a boxing bout because their relationship has been rocky and they have openly insulted each other over the years.

The DJ and producer recently admitted during a sit-down interview with The POPcast that he would fight Cassper, but only for the correct sum of money.

“If there was a good number, I would get in the ring. It’s not a good number. Cassper’s team sent an email to my team saying something like R500,000. I’m not going to get in the ring for R500,000,” he said.

“I don’t take the beef between me and Cassper personally, it’s all jokes. I once met him at an airport, and I laughed the whole time, and he was serious. I don’t take it seriously. Even when we go to the ring, I’m not going to take it that seriously. But if we are going to do it, let’s do it the proper way. Give me what I want … For me to get out my house, R2.5m.”

While waiting for his rematch with NaakMusiQ and match with Big Zulu, Cassper, on the other side, has remained adamant that he wants to fight Kaybee.

“Naak said he would fight me again & I accepted. We have to do it. The first fight was so entertaining. It’s also an easier fight to put together. The fight that I really want is … Prince Kaybee — and he will run forever, so might as well do the rematch so long,” he wrote on Twitter.

Big Zulu has also stated a desire to face Cassper in the ring. The rapper claimed that after defeating Brian Dings, who is well-known for his time spent serving as a bodyguard on Moja Love’s reality series Uyajola 9/9, in his first boxing bout, he felt confident enough to enter the ring with the Siyathandana hitmaker.

When Cassper, who was also present, saw Big Zulu fight, he was told that despite his size, the rapper was not a threat to him and was instead engaged in contract negotiations with other parties.

“Even after the knockout, I think he is exactly what I thought he would be. A big puncher, always relying on his right. I’m not too concerned about the weight [advantage],” he said.

Big Zulu replied to the rapper by saying that all he wanted was for Cassper to select a date for the fight because he was already getting ready.

“It would be easy if you can just announce a date — and then say whatever else you want to say,” he said.
