Reese Witherspoon Reflects On Taking ‘Where The Crawdads Sing’ From Book Club To The Big Screen

For Reese Witherspoon, bringing the rambling story of Where the Crawdads Sing to the big screen has been a purposeful venture since she previously read the smash-hit novel.

Witherspoon talked with ET’s Rachel Smith on the rug at the world debut of Where the Crawdads Sing at the Museum of Modern Art in New York on Monday, and she pondered the excursion she’s been on to get the transformation going.

As per Witherspoon, her Hello Sunshine Book Club – – which advances and celebrates books written by female writers – – got Delia Owens’ novel of a similar name in September 2018, where it then, at that point, took off and turned into a gigantic hit.
