Richard Lynn Stenhouse Jr. is an American professional stock car racing driver who competes in the NASCAR Cup Series, driving the No. 47 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 for JTG Daugherty Racing full-time.
He won the 2010 Nationwide Series Rookie of the Year, and in the years 2011 and 2012, he won the Nationwide Series championships.
He was also the 2013 Sprint Cup Series Rookie of the Year. Stenhouse was born on October 2, 1987, in Memphis, Tennessee but grew up in Olive Branch, Mississippi.
He made history in 1997 to be the first Mississippian driver to have attempted a full-time schedule since Lake Speed.
In 2008 he made a transition to stock cars but then began on dirt.
Being an Ole Miss Rebels football fan, he led the Rebels onto the field before the annual Egg Bowl game versus in-state rival Mississippi State in 2014.
