Rishi Sunak wife: Meet Akshata Murthy

was born on May 12 1980.  Rishi Sunak is a British politician working as Chancellor of the Exchequer since 2020, having previously worked as Chief Secretary to the Treasury from 2019 to 2020.

As a member of the Conservative Party, he has been a Member of Parliament (MP) for Richmond (Yorks) since 2015.

Rishi was born in Southampton to Indian parents who had emigrated from East Africa.

Rishi Sunak had his education at Winchester College. He studied Philosophy, Politics and Economics at Lincoln College, Oxford, and later gained an MBA from Stanford University as a Fulbright Scholar.

After completing the University, Rishi  worked for Goldman Sachs and later as a partner at the hedge fund firms The Children’s Investment Fund Management and Theleme Partners

While studying at Stanford, Rishi met his future wife Akshata Murthy, the daughter N. R. Narayana Murthy.

Rishi Sunak got married to Akshata Murthy, the daughter of N. R. Narayana Murthy, the founder of Infosys, in August 2009.

Akshata Murthy the wife of Rishi Sunak owns a stake in Infosys, reportedly worth hundreds of millions of pounds.
