On January 10, 2022, Robert Durst died at the age of 78. The convicted murderer was serving his life in prison jail term when he died.
Robert was found guilty of so many cases of murder. He was a millionaire and an heir to a multi-million dollar Real Estate company, but for his own bad decisions, he didn’t live to enjoy his legacy the way he should have.
According to reports, he died at the San Joaquin General Hospital where he was admitted after suffering a cardiac arrest. He wasn’t able to come back to life after slipping into a coma.
Robert Durst was jailed over the murder of his own wife, Kathleen Durst, who vanished into the thin air on January 31, 1982. Her disappearance was after their fight in their home in South Salem, New York, and she was never seen again. Robert’s own friend Susan Berman, also died mysteriously after she was found dead in her home in Los Angeles in 2000 from a gunshot; and Morris Black, a neighbor who was shot in Mr. Durst’s Galveston, Texas, apartment in 2001.
All these and other heinous crimes were the reason why he was spending a life sentence in jail at the California Health Care Facility.
