Rodrick Wayne Moore Jr. who was born on October 22, 1998, better known by his stage name Roddy Ricch, is a Compton, California-based rapper and vocalist.

His track “Die Young,” which reached number 98 on the Billboard Hot 100 in 2018, catapulted him to popularity.

Feed Tha Streets (2017) and Feed Tha Streets II (2018), Ricch’s first two mixtapes, were similarly well-received. Ricch was featured on Nipsey Hussle’s Grammy-nominated hit “Racks in the Middle” and Mustard’s Grammy-nominated single “Ballin’,” which reached the top 20 on the Hot 100 in 2019.

Please Excuse Me for Being Antisocial (2019), Ricch’s debut studio album, arrived at number one on the Billboard 200, thanks to Atlantic Records and Bird Vision Entertainment.

It gave birth to the number-one Hot 100 hit “The Box,” which won him a Diamond certification from the Recording Industry Association of America, as well as the track “High Fashion” (featuring Mustard).

Ricch’s appearance on DaBaby’s hit “Rockstar” later that year earned his second number-one single on the Hot 100. In 2021, he released his second album, Live Life Fast.

Ricch has received several awards, including a Grammy Award for Best Rap Album (from nine nominations), two BET Awards, two BET Hip Hop Awards, and an American Music Award.
