Samklef, a well-known artist and music producer, has shared a video of a recent event brawl between Sam Larry and DJ Tuzo.

This video was released in response to Sam Larry’s police testimony, in which he stated that he had been out of the country since August 20th and denied any involvement in Mohbad’s death.

A segment of Sam Larry’ s police statement reads as follows:

“I traveled to Kenya to search for a new African act to perform at my mother’ s concert this year. I have been away since August 20th, and up to this point, I am unaware of anything beyond what has been reported in blogs and the press. I don’ t even knows his current residence.”

“I only have knowledge of his former label boss and their residence. I have no information regarding any nurse, doctor, or hospital. I am oblivious to his recent movements. I simply do not have the time for it. I have experienced far greater financial losses before; it’ s part of life, you win some, you lose some.”

Samklef, however, has offered proof that suggests Sam Larry was actually in Nigeria on the 26th at Wave Beach, indicating that some of his claims may have been made up.

This information casts doubt on Sam Larry’s assertions’ veracity and suggests that his version of events may be inconsistent.

The timeframe offered by Sam Larry appears to be in doubt in the video that Samklef posted, which could complicate the ongoing investigation into the circumstances of Mohbad’s unfortunate death.

Following his return to Nigeria and subsequent imprisonment by the police, Nigerian socialite Sam Larry, whose actual name is Balogun Olamilekan Eletu, has revealed the reasons for his alleged maltreatment of late musician Mohbad.

On September 12, 2023, Mohbad died under controversial circumstances. The episode that catapulted Sam Larry to fame was a viral video in which he seemed to disrupt a music video shoot and threaten Mohbad with armed individuals.

Following this incident, Larry was taken into prison by the police after receiving numerous calls from Nigerians calling for his arrest. He then broke his silence and gave a statement outlining his viewpoint.

Sam Larry recalled an interaction from two years ago in which he allegedly gave Mohbad N2 million in exchange for the singer’s participation in his mother’s annual memory event in Ikorodu.

Mohbad, on the other hand, did not appear, alleging illness and an unfortunate run-in with the NDLEA. Mohbad allegedly recounted the loss of both the money and his phone during the raid when Sam Larry requested a refund.

When Mohbad announced his decision to leave Marlian Records, he confessed his financial issues but made no pledge to return the amount, according to Sam Larry.

Later, Sam Larry claimed to have seen Mohbad filming a music video nearby with Zlatan Ibile.

He confronted Mohbad about the overdue amount out of frustration, which resulted in a five-minute heated exchange. A buddy of Mohbad supposedly promised to pay back the money, but as of yet, nothing has been done. Sam Larry asserted that he had forgotten about the early-year incident.

Sam Larry stated that he came to Kenya this year in quest of a new African performer to sing at his mother’s performance, departing Nigeria on August 20th. He said that he is uninformed of developments other than what has been reported in the media. Larry stated he had no knowledge of Mohbad’s present whereabouts, having just known his old label boss and their apartment. He claimed to be unaware of any nurse, doctor, or hospital involvement, and he denied knowing of Mohbad’s recent movements.

Larry highlighted that he returned to Nigeria freely and that he had no direct or indirect participation in the terrible death of the artist. He also stressed that he was cooperating with the police inquiry.
