The death of the singer has come to many as a shock as many have attributed it to depression and others talking about how he died. He is said to have died on Friday, 25th November 2022. Samuel Okposo is a Nigerian singer, according to some media outlets he slumped and was rushed to the hospital where he was confirmed dead.
The manager of Sammie Okposo, in the person of Hillary Vincent in a recent interview with the Punch Newspaper has come out to say that Sammie did not slump and die as was reported by the news. According to him, he said, “It is not true that Sammie slumped and died. That report is false. At the right time, the family will set the records straight. But, I can tell you authoritatively that he did not slump. Rather, he just did not wake up from his sleep''

He also informed the general public that the family of the deceased is yet to decide who when and where the funeral is to be held. As it stands now they are still in grief and when any decision is made it would be announced to the general public when the 51year old singerb will be laid to rest
