Sean Justin Penn is an American film director, screenwriter, actor and producer. Penn has won two Academy Awards, for his roles in Mystic River (2003), the mystery drama and also for his role in the biopic Milk (2008).

Leila George D'Onofrio was born in 1991/1992. She is an Australian-American actress. She was born in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia to actor and producer, Vincent D'Onofrio and actress, Greta Scacchi.
George was raised by her mother in Brighton, East Sussex, United Kingdom. She also has three younger half-brothers.
In 2008, George took acting classes at Brighton College. In the following year, she attended Crawley College, which is her mother's alma mater, and in 2010, she went on to study at the Arts Educational Schools, London. She went to Australia to study at Sydney Film School in 2011 and in 2012, she went to the United States to study at the Lee Strasberg Institute in New York City, close to her father.
In 2013, she worked on the documentary, “The Last Impresario” as a subsidiary camera operator. In 2014, she starred alongside her mother in a play by Russian dramatist, Anton Chekhov's, “The Seagull” for the Black Swan Theatre Company in Perth. Her mother played the role of “Arkadina”, and she played the role of “Nina”, Arkadina's love rival.
In 2016, she starred in her first feature television film, “Mother, May I Sleep with Danger?” She was also featured in films like, “Mortal Engines” (2018) and “The Kid” (2019). George started playing the younger version of Ellen Barkin's character, Janine “Smurf” Cody, in the television series, “Animal Kingdom”, in 2019.
George and actor Sean Penn got married on 30 July 2020, but she later filed for divorce on 15 October 2021.
Following 2019 to 2020 Australian bushfires, Leila George co-produced a celebrity fundraiser to support the long-term conservation of the areas affected by the bushfires. The event was hosted by the LA Zoo.
