Since Dem Give Me Admission I Neva Start School – Rema Begs ASUU To Call Off Strike

Fast-rising Nigerian singer, Divine Ikubor, professionally known as Rema has called on the Academic Staff Union of Universities to call off their strike so he can commerce his tertiary education.

 

Rema announced to his fans in January that he had gained admission to the University of Lagos. According to him, despite his growing fame in the music industry, his mother insisted that he obtained a University degree.

 

Sadly, the ‘Calm Down’ crooner, he hasn’t gotten the chance to start school since he got admission due to the ASUU strike which commenced in February this year.

 

“ASUU, since dem give me admission I neva start school o, e don do nau!😖”, he tweeted.

 

The Academic Staff Union of Universities went on a nationwide strike on the 14th of February, 2022 for some conditions of service that the Nigerian Government has failed to provide its members. Although, several meetings and negotiations between the union and the government, no consensus have being drawn by the parties.
