‘Sister Wives’: Season 17 Teaser Hints At Christine And Kody Brown’s Breakup

On Friday, TLC dropped a 10-second secret that shows four wedding bands around the “I” in “Spouses.” Accompanied by emotional music, the video zooms out and the music crescendos to an opportune “ding” when one of the wedding bands falls. After the ring tumbles off, the debut date is then uncovered: Sept. 11.

While the promotion takes a subtle approach with a lot, it sure appears to recommend season 17 will cover the result of last year’s sensation: Christine tapping out following 25 years with Kody.

Christine, Kody’s third spouse, reported the split back in November on Instagram.

“After over 25 years together, Kody and I have become separated and I have pursued the hard decision to leave,” the TLC star said in an explanation. “We will keep on being areas of strength for an in one another’s lives as we parent our delightful youngsters and backing our great family. As of now, we request your beauty and graciousness as we explore through this stage inside our loved ones.”

Kody addressed Christine’s choice to leave in his very own proclamation, stating, “Christine’s choice to leave accompanies a lot of trouble,” he said. “We partook in numerous years together and I have a lot of regard and reverence for her.”

Christine and Kody share six youngsters – – Paedon, 23, and little girls Aspyn, 26, Mykelti, 25, Gwndlyn, 20, Ysabel, 19, and Truely, 11.

Christine entered the Brown family’s plural marriage in 1994. At that point, Kody was at that point wedded to first spouse and second wife Brown. Robyn Brown turned into Kody’s fourth spouse in 2010.
