UK-based multiple award-winning Ghanaian gospel singer cum philanthropist Sonnie Badu has been sported wearing a Versace robe costing exactly $595.
The ‘Baba’ hitmaker who is said to be worth over a million dollars took a picture of himself in the Versace robe which costs about $595. This shows that indeed God is good as He continues to bless the ‘man of God’ for his effort in his ministry.
However, this may not sit well with some critics who expect Christians like himself to conform to certain standards in order to differentiate themselves from the world and worldly things, but who are they to decide how one spends on quality things and also, one’s way of life?
The singer had recently received his fair share of jabs from netizens after he shared a video where he was seen seated in his rocking chair with the controversial Nektunez ‘Amenor’ amapiano remix playing in the background.
One of his followers quickly jumped into the comments section to ask why a man of his calibre would listen to such music. He added that as a man of God, he should do things to differentiate himself from the world however, not until you hear his motive behind certain things he does, you may end up being his wrong critic.
God has indeed blessed him.
