According to police and sources, a 17-year-old St. Joseph Regional High School student was fatally stabbed early Thanksgiving morning at the address of an ax-throwing establishment in Tribeca. A 19-year-old man was also stabbed in the torso, but he is in stable condition at Bellevue Hospital.

According to the New York City Police Department, Gianluca Bordone, 19, was charged with manslaughter and assault on Friday.

At 1:50 a.m., police were called to 96 Lafayette St., the address of Live Axe, and discovered two victims. The 17-year-old has been identified as Rocco Rodden, a St. Joe’s football player, according to sources.

Rodden was taken to Bellevue by first responders and pronounced dead. The stabbing sent shockwaves through the community, leaving Rodden’s family, friends, and classmates reeling from the unexpected and tragic loss.
