Military veteran, Stephen D. “Steve” Zabielski is the second U.S. Army veteran to have passed away as a combatant in the Ukraine conflict. Zabielski was 52 years old when he passed on. He was unfortunately killed by a landmine in southeastern Ukraine. Zabielski was survived by his wife and five step-children.

According to sources, the veteran's funeral rites were performed privately. Stephen's funeral rites were performed by his wife in Florida after his body had been returned to the United States.
Stephen Zabielski Burial
After Stephen's body was taken from the local morgue in Ukraine, it was flown by the Airforce back to the United States. Stephen's burial services were held a few days afterward by his wife and other military officers.

The late veteran's memorial service was held in his home back in Florida.
