American comedic television program Ted was developed by Seth MacFarlane for Peacock. As a preface to the feature films, it is the third entry in the Ted franchise. In addition to Max Burkholder, Alanna Ubach, Scott Grimes, and Giorgia Whigham, MacFarlane plays the title character once more.

The series, which is set in 1993–1994 and takes place amid Ted (2012)’s opening scene and main narrative, follows the early years of a sentient teddy bear toy named Ted as he lives in Framingham, Massachusetts, with 16-year-old John Bennett and his family.

The Bennett family consists of John and Ted, as well as John’s mother Susan, father Matty, and cousin Blaire, who lives with them while attending a local college. Ted is soon made to go to school alongside John, which leads to bullying and other problems for him.
