The National Science and Maths Quiz competition for the year 2021 is finally over. Prempeh College pulled through by emerging as ultimate winners, PRESEC, Legon came second and KETASCO came, third.

You all can tell that the NMSQ always come with a frenzy of involvement from Ghanaians at large.

It opens room for us to tease each other as to whose alma mater is better than the other.

Well, this year, one thing worth noting is how seemingly tough the questions were.

Social media users who were once Science students said when they hear some of the questions, they wonder if they ever learnt that in school.

One BigGodwin Martey wrote: “Eii? These questions I am hearing at NSMQ2021 dierr, I was a shark in SHS oo, I used to represent my School for State Competitions ooo, but Aswearugad, now I can’t even answer correctly 50% of these Questions, not at that speed!

Well, another social media user has also shared his opinion on this year’s questions. According to him, the questions when the NSMQ was held under the NDC government were easier than under the current Nana Addo-led government.

He commented that under the NPP government, the questions are tougher.

Well, we wish to say this is just one of those social media jokes but the fact is, the state of the economy kind of confirms what the guy said in the screenshot above.
