Tonto Dikeh has written a heartfelt letter to her supporters days after Nigeria’s nationwide general governorship poll.

The single mother has used her Instagram account to thank everyone for their support. She reaffirmed that she is still committed to her political goals.

Greetings, fellow citizens The general election of 2023 has been an amazing voyage, full of both successes and setbacks. However, as I take in the experience, I am thankful for the chance to have been a part of it all, particularly for the opportunity to be considered as the Deputy Governorship candidate under the prestigious AfricaDemocratic Congress (ADC) platform with His Excellency, Hon. @tonteibraye. I don’t consider this to be a given.

I want to sincerely thank everyone for their support throughout this effort. First and foremost, I want to thank Almighty God for giving me the grace. Next, I want to thank my family for their unwavering love and support. Third, I want to thank the good people of Rivers State for believing in me. I vow to keep fighting for you in any way I can.

Thank you so much to all of my local and foreign fans, The Tonto Dikeh Foundation, the media, bloggers, celebrities, and everyone else who has shown me love, publicity, and support. We took on the adventure together, and I am proud of all that we have accomplished.

Additionally, I want to express my gratitude to all of the staff, volunteers, and members of our wonderful group, @cymsnigeria. I am appreciative of your patience, encouragement, and presence as we battled this battle under the direction of the Director General, Chief Obinna Nwaka.

Fourthly, I’d like to thank @funkejenifaakindele for sticking up for LAGOS STATE by giving her a flower.Integrity, not party, has always been important to me.

I have personal experience with how challenging it can be for women to get involved in politics. But I implore my sister ladies not to give up. Instead, let’s stand by one another, regardless of our political views. Also, I apologize because I know I may have offended some individuals during this course.

I want to implore everyone as the 2023 Election comes to a close with a freshly elected leader to make sure we put the peace and prosperity of our beloved Rivers State ahead of our feelings. for the sake of the growth and unification of Nigeria. because we can only have an impact as a group.
