Tumi Morake, a comedian and the host of Sunday Sexy Love, has urged people to mature and stop criticizing reality star Nonku Williams and her ex, Dumisani Ndlazi, alias Rough Diamond (RD).
The pair was on the program, and they have since split up.
She shared a clip of the most recent episode in which the two were guests on the show in the comments area of a recent Instagram post.
“Yeah mara also let’s grow up. Just because a relationship is over doesn’t necessarily mean the feelings and experiences are irrelevant. Sometimes you look back and go ‘it was good, it could have been better’ or ‘it had potential, pity it didn’t survive xyz’.
“Guys, life is not perfect, jokes aside. Four-day relationships end, 40-year relationships end, but the essence of the moment that relationship lived in can only be judged by the people in it. Ke feditse ankerr. Just watch and enjoy. Danko. PS nobody said true love always lasts forever.”
Reports that RD had allegedly defrauded Nonku of her money appeared not long after their breakup.
When Rough Diamond and Nonku were dating, people were talking about their relationship and wondering what caused it to stop.
A video by Rough Diamond debunked claims that he conned the reality TV star out of money.
“I never took any money from Nonku. I was the one providing, as a man, for the person I was in love with. I don’t recall her saying anything bad about me when we were still together and that’s why I took to the decision to clear the air. People fall in love, fight, fall out of love, it’s part of nature.”
In the first of the two-part Real Housewives of Durban season 3 reunion specials in May, MaBlerh asked Nonku to respond to rumors that she was defrauded of money when she was engaged to RD.
Nonku said that since they were handling the situation legally, she did not want to discuss what had happened between them.
