Uche Ebere, a Nollywood actress, has slammed her junior colleague, Lilian Afegbai. According to the report, Lilian Afegbai made a dig at the opposite sex who are ready for marriage but do not own a home.
Toke Makinwa, a media personality, criticized such men in an interview on her podcast, Toke Moments. For her, any man who does not own a home before settling down is doing something wrong.
“Something is wrong with a man who doesn't have a house in his name,” she said.
She disclosed that she is not looking for a billionaire, but rather someone who is comfortable. Her prospective suitor must own a home and a car and be able to meet her basic needs.
“I am not seeking a billionaire.” I'm looking for a laid-back guy who can do basic things. For me, comfort means having a home and a car.”
In response, Uche Ebere slammed Lilian for her mentality.
She held responsible her age mentality for her comment being meaningless. She vowed that if Lilian realizes the consequences of her statement, she may end up marrying for money.
