Video of City of Windhoek Spokesperson Herold Akwenye and his daughter has sparked outrage on social media. In the video, the little girl appeared to be in the bedroom with his father.
She laid down like the mama of the house.
In another snap, Herold Akwenye placed a kiss on his daughter’s lips. That is what has sparked the outrage more.
People feel it is not right for a father to kiss his daughter on the lips.
Herold said he was having an ‘innocent fun’ with his child. In the video, Akwenye – wearing boxers – is seen kissing his teenage daughter on the lips under the caption ‘my girlfriend’. “Those that viewed my post as inappropriate, I apologize. But I’ll continue to be the best loving father [that] I can be to my kids,” he told Namibian Sun.
